Are you an African tech startup intending to scale to Europe? Or a European tech startup, eyeing the vast expanse of Africa for your next big move? Well, get ready to buckle up, because ENRICH in Africa (EiA) is turning those dreams into reality!
EiA has launched two incredible programs – Africa to Europe and Europe to Africa scaling programmes. These programs are designed to support high-potential African and European startups establishing themselves in Europe and Africa respectively.
The scaling programme from Europe to Africa is led by iHub, Africa’s foremost innovation hub. The mission is to help European startups expand their horizons, access new markets in Africa, and create a positive impact on the continent. The Africa to Europe scaling programme is led by Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB), the heartbeat of pan-African innovation. We are dedicated to enabling African startups to thrive in new European markets.
Through a curated 4-month programme, the scaling programme will support European tech startups to scale their businesses to the African market and African tech startups to scale their businesses to the European market by providing them with immersive knowledge sessions on local market insights, tailored support, and mentorship. The scaling programme will also facilitate access to potential investors for the startups leveraging ENRICH in Africa Champions, iHUB and CcHUB networks in Africa and Europe.
Eligibility Criteria
For Africa to Europe:
- Be a registered entity incorporated in any country in Africa.
- Provide an innovative product and service that could address a pertinent European market problem.
- Have a strong business model with demonstrated traction in the African market.
- Have made a decision to scale to a specific European market with clearly defined market opportunities.
- Be able to communicate succinctly in English, both orally and in written form.
