Expression of Interest (EOI): Training Providers for Digital Marketingย 

Background

The Nigeria GATEWAY Program is a 5-year initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerians – particularly women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and other marginalized groups, with the skills and infrastructure needed to access meaningful and dignified gig work.

Training providers are invited to express interest in potential collaborations to design and deliver digital marketing skill training.

Courses will serve diverse learners, from those entering the digital space for the first time to intermediate-level practitioners seeking to strengthen employability and access to online gig work opportunities.

Purpose of the EOI

This Expression of Interest aims to update GATEWAYโ€™s database of credible and capable training providers who may be considered for proposals and partnerships under the program.

Submission of an EOI does not constitute an invitation to bid or guarantee selection. Only shortlisted organizations from this process may be invited to submit full proposals during subsequent restricted calls.

Track Overview โ€“ Digital Marketing

The GATEWAY Program seeks training providers with proven capacity and existing curriculum in Digital Marketing. This track equips young women and youth in Nigeria with skills for employability and gig economy opportunities, covering learners from entry-level beginners.. Providers should demonstrate experience delivering engaging, self-paced learning content that integrates practical digital marketing tools, workflows, and best practices.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered under this EOI, training providers must meet all of the following minimum requirements:

  1. Legal Status:
    • Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or relevant national authority, with at least five years of continuous operation.
  2. Program Delivery Experience:
    • Demonstrated record of delivering structured training programs (digital, creative, or business-related) with measurable learner outcomes.
  3. Scale Readiness:
    • Proven capacity to deliver training to a minimum of 500 learners per cycle, either directly or through verifiable partnerships.
  4. Learning Infrastructure:
    • Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver virtual and self-paced training with rich, interactive content, with the ability to host or integrate content seamlessly for learner access and progress tracking.
    • Access to digital learning infrastructure such as learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, video production or recording studios, and competent instructional design or multimedia teams.ย 
  5. Human Capacity:
    • At least three qualified facilitators or subject-matter experts relevant to the proposed skills training.
  6. Inclusion Commitment:
    • Clear strategies to ensure gender equity and meaningful participation of young women and marginalized youth.
  7. Compliance, Accreditation & Regulatory:
    • Registration, tax clearance certificate and evidence of sound financial or operational standing.
    • No record of default or debarment with any donor, government, or development partner.
