The Startup-University Partnership for Advancing Research, Innovation, and Technology in Africa (SUPARTech) is a 12-month innovation support pilot programme designed to unlock these opportunities by fostering co-creation, knowledge exchange, and commercialisation of innovation.

Through SUPARTech, startups gain direct access to researchers working on high-potential technologies and solutions, while universities connect their research with real market needs.

At its core, the programme bridges the gap between academic research and entrepreneurial practice, pairing the scientific expertise of African universities with the market agility of startup founders. Together, they will co-create innovations that can scale, transform industries, and shape Africa’s future.
