Lifebank Graduates from CcHUBโ€™s Incubation Program

Founder: Temie Giwa-Tunbosun || Launched: 2016 || Name: Lifebank || Sector: Healthcare||
CcHUB Programs Attended: Incubation (January 2016 โ€“ January 2018)

In January 2016, Temie joined the incubation program with mostly an idea of the company she wanted to build and a very early stage version of the Lifebank app. Reflecting on why she joined the program, Temie says โ€œI wanted people with experience building technology companies to partner with me to help grow the company. I thought I had a fantastic idea but I knew I needed the right building blocksโ€.ย She started Lifebank because of the impact it would have, she wanted to save lives but it was also important that she did it in a sustainable way.

During her time at the Hub, she received funding, as well as business support, expert advice and a conducive working space.ย Now two years in, andย Lifebank has moved over 9000 pints of blood, saved over 2000 lives and made over $90,000 in revenue.

Lifebank officially graduated from the incubation program in January, 2018. In the video below, Temi talks about her journey so far and her experience being part of the incubation program.
