Seedstars World Competition 2014: Call for Applications

Do you consider your startup one of the best in Nigeria? Then the Seedstars World Competition is just for you. Get the chance to compete with startups in emerging and fast-growing startup scenes as Seedstars World makes its return to Lagos, Nigeria on 13 June 2014 for Seedstars Lagos.

Seedstars Lagos 2014 Pitch will hold at the CcHUB on 13 June 2014 for 20 pre-selected startups who must meet the following criteria:

    • less than USD500,000 in capital investment
    • maximum 2 years since founding date
    • a product that is up and running in the market
    • a global project, potentially scalable at an international level
How to Apply
This is an invitation only competition but startups can request an invitation through the site (if you click on ”How to get an invitation”). Click on this link to get started. Applications close on 1 June 2014 so hurry now and get started here. If you make the final list of 20 startups that get to attend the pitch session, here is what to expect:

30 regional events: an exclusive one-day event where the best-in-class startups pitch their ideas in front of a regional jury panel

Final event: 30 finalists from each regional event will be invited to Switzerland to participate in a four-day bootcamp and the grand finale where they will compete in front of an international jury and European investors. One winner will win up to USD 500,000 in equity investment!
