CcHUB Hosts 2nd Annual Social Change Summit

SCS-Banner

Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) and Omidyar Network cordially invite you to attend the 2nd edition of our annual Social Change Summit taking place on the 23rd of June, 2016.

With the global drop in crude oil prices, the Nigerian economy is feeling severe strain at the moment. The realization of the need to move to an economy less dependent on fossil fuel exports seems to be dawning to all. As focus moves towards diversifying the economy, opportunity arises for investment in smart infrastructure that stimulate the economy and create catalytic change in the areas that most affect the wellbeing of the citizenry.

As the honeymoon ends for the new government, there is increasing realization that the task of radically improving life outcomes for Nigerians cannot be left to government alone. There is need for resources, talents and partnerships to be mobilised to drive transformational change across the different systems in Nigeria.

Following a successful 1st edition in 2015, Co-Creation Hub (CcHub), Nigeriaโ€™s premier social innovation centre in partnership with Omidyar Network is proud to host Nigeriaโ€™s 2nd Social Change Summit in June 2016. The Summit will converge stakeholders from government, business, civil societies, donors, academia and international organisations to explore concrete strategies to mobilize resources, creativity and partnerships to drive transformational change across the different systems that make Nigeria function as a good society.

Keynote at the yearโ€™s summit will be delivered Mrs. Ibukun Awosika (Chairman, First Bank Nigeria), Mr. Stephen King (Partner, Omidyar Network), Mrs. Ory Okolloh (Director of Investments, Omidyar Network) and Mr. โ€˜Bosun Tijani (CEO, Co-Creation Hub Nigeria).
