Exciting News: CcHUB Launches in Namibia!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! CcHUB has officially launched its Namibia office, and we couldn’t be more excited about this new chapter. The launch event, which took place on Thursday, June 29th, was a remarkable success.

In our CEO’s opening remarks, Dr. Bosun Tijani highlighted the core mission of CcHUB, which started 14 years ago: to provide a platform for individuals who believe in their ability to drive change in society using technology to get the resources they require. The launch of CcHUB Namibia is set to accelerate the growth of the local startup ecosystem, foster entrepreneurship, and drive innovation in Southern Africa.

Dr. Anna Matros-Goreses, Executive Director of Research, Innovation, and Partnerships at Namibia University of Science and Technology, was one of the keynote speakers at the event. She acknowledged the significance of CcHUB’s arrival in Namibia during a time when digital technology and artificial intelligence are rapidly evolving, as she anticipates the opportunities this would provide for Namibia’s startups looking to drive impact.

The event was further enriched by the insightful words of Fillemon Nangolo, a renowned Namibian founder of Tololi Online. He shared valuable tips on how the Namibian startup ecosystem can leverage the resources we offer to build sustainable businesses and overcome challenges.

Ojoma Ochai, Managing Partner, Creative Economy Practice at CcHUB further shared on our areas of focus.

The evening concluded with a vote of appreciation from the CEO, Dr. Bosun Tijani, to the over 120 attendees for their support and enthusiasm for the positive change we hope to collectively achieve in Namibia and Africa at large.
