You are cordially invited for a meet-up for Nigerian Ladies in Tech at the CcHub.

At this meet-up, we will be exploring ways in which women can play a stronger role in Nigeria’s growing information technology start-up scene which currently seems disproportionately dominated by men. Our aim is to make 2013 the year of the Nigerian Girl Geek ;).

While we have female powerhouses in the Nigerian tech space with the likes of Funke Opeke (CEO, MainOne Cable Company), Juliet Ehimuan (Country Manager, Google Nigeria), Lynda Saint-Nwafor (CTO, MTN Nigeria), Florence Seriki, (MD/CEO Omatek Ventures) and even Omobola Johnson (Hon. Minister of Information Technology), we want to create synergy to ensure that there is a steady pipeline of young women in influential roles as the start-up ecosystem opens up more in the coming years.

This meet-up is geared towards forming a synergy amongst women in Tech and discover areas where we can collaborate, learn, grow, network and make maximum use of all the opportunities available in Tech particularly with regards to what the CCHUB community can provide.
