GovoteNG: 131 Days to the General Elections

Have you collected your Permanent Voter Card (PVC)? Procrastination is the thief of time. Visit your Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) Local Government Area (LGA) office where your polling unit is to pick it up if you registered between 2017- January 14th, 2022.

Did you also know that there are only 131 days until the 2023 General Elections? How time flies, right? This is the time for you to take action and actively get involved. Every vote counts in the election and there are many reasons that should motivate you to hit the polls in 2023 and cast your vote for Nigeria.

Do not forget that election campaigns have kicked off nationwide. The stage is now set for candidates to “shoot their shot.” Ensure to engage them and ask pertinent questions that bother on our national development.

We are also excited to let you know that we have launched a community organizing campaign to help increase grassroots participation and actual voting and build accountability. It’s called the #Get5VotingPartners to collect their PVCs and #MakeWeGoVote campaign. Find out more and get your community to join the train.

Remember that PVC collection is ongoing. Pick up your PVC and get ready to vote. No election is won by mere wishes; only those who turn out to vote decide the election outcome.

Follow us on Twitter @GovoteNG and Instagram @Govote.ng for simplified information on the election process and join the conversation using #GoVoteNG on all platforms.

The CTIF Conference 2022 is still ongoing. Catch up with the special virtual hangout with #Unplugged22 exhibitors today October 17th, 2022 at 4 pm W.A.T.
