As part of the Social Change Lab for Health (SCL4Health) program we are running here at CcHub, we are pleased to invite you to visit our Idea Forum and share you thoughts, suggestions and opinions on the different solutions there.
Here’s some background info
The idea of SCL4Health is to stimulate the development of web and mobile technology tools to improve healthcare delivery in Nigeria. Following the definition of priority areas for us to focus technology interventions, we opened a Call for Ideas for relevant technology solutions. So far, we have received a total of 40 ideas — 27 Build It ideas and 13 Grow It ideas.
- GROW IT represents ideas for which a prototype or minimum viable product has been built and has launched or is currently being piloted.
- BUILD IT represents new ideas that have not yet been built but are supposed to address an identified gap in healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
What happens next?
The shortlisted ideas will receive further support to improve their first version. 12 ideas will be shortlisted and all Shortlisted ideas (6 Grow it and 6 Build it) will have the opportunity to pitch for a pre-seed grant of $5,000 from the Tony Elumelu Foundation as well as exposure to other potential supporters.
The Grow It, the solutions get usability reviews with health and technology stakeholders as well as business development support from the CcHub Pre-Incubation team.
The Build It ideas will be given the opportunity for rapid prototyping as well as usability and business development support to prove their concept.
